English vs American GOlden Retrievers
Coats: English Cream Golden Retrievers generally possess longer, thicker coats than their American counterparts. Both breeds can, however, have shorter coats and longer coats.
Color: American Goldens come in Yellow (Golden) or Red, while English Cream Goldens are white, cream, and yellow.
Structure: English Cream Goldens are much thicker in bone than American Goldens, with some males weighing 100 + pounds. English goldens have larger heads and paws than their American counterparts.
Looks: English creams have much more of a polar bear look while American Goldens possess a teddy bear look.
Temperaments: Both dogs possess human-loving temperaments making them wonderful family companions. English Goldens tend to have calmer, more mellow temperaments compared to American Goldens. This translates to English Goldens having slightly lower energy levels making them easier to manage in a family household or apartment setting.
Intelligence: Both breeds possess extraordinary intelligence levels making them trainable as pets, emotional support dogs, service dogs, hunting dogs, show dogs, and performance dogs.
