About us

Welcome to Gingerbread Goldens! We are a family breeder in the Nashville area, Tennessee. Our goal is to produce high-quality AKC golden retrievers with excellent health and temperaments. We are animal lovers in general, but like many others fell in love with goldens a long time ago. Their friendly, loving personality makes them the perfect addition to families.

We also spend quality time with them, so they are well-socialized. We also do genetic testing and OFA hip, elbow, heart, and eye testing to ensure that you get one of the best puppies out there. Goldens are known for their loving personalities and desire nothing more than to be with their humans,. They are also superb dogs for families with children.

All dog and puppies are AKC registered and only leave the farm after they are 8 weeks of age and are updated on all of their puppy shots and de-wormings. They are also vet checked before leaving to make sure that all eyes, hips, ears etc. are well and healthy.

I grew up around English Golden Retrievers on a farm in Georgia. I attended undergrad at The College of Charleston and grad school at The University of Southern California earning two degrees in accounting. I worked for a few years in public accounting, real estate private equity, and corporate finance. Realizing my passions lay elsewhere, I bought a farm in middle Tennessee closer to home, my Southern roots, and an entrepreneurial spirit that lay around a love for animals and more specifically English Goldens!

Before coming to San Francisco for grad school, I grew up in a small town in Taiwan. I completed my undergraduate studies at Ming Chuan University and earned two degrees in Advertising and Marketing from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I currently work remotely in social media and marketing roles for companies based in San Francisco.

Growing up, we always had a family dog, and I cherished being around them. When I moved to the USA by myself, I knew I wanted my own dog, and I always dreamed of having a Golden Retriever. After meeting Jacob, he surprised me with my first English Cream Golden Retriever, and I have been in love with this breed ever since. Now, I work remotely and assist Jacob in raising these amazing dogs.

Our goal is to share our love and the wonderful qualities of English Cream Golden Retrievers with you!

Jacob & Hanne

We met in San Francisco while I was working in public accounting and Hanne was in graduate school. We have lived in Charleston, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco together but are lucky now to call Tennessee our home.
